Bare Cards: Redefining Greeting Cards with Innovation and Sustainability

Bare Cards

A Thank You Card That Inspired

As a teacher, I often receive cards from my pupils thanking me for the previous year of teaching. However, this past July, one stood out. I was given a tri-fold card with a design that inspired me to rethink how Bare Cards can evolve. Whilst the idea of tri-fold cards is nothing new, could we incorporate this design feature to include our innovative self-seal solution to reduce waste?

Introducing Our Eco-Friendly Tri-Fold Greeting Cards

After months of research and development, we are thrilled to unveil our new Tri-Fold range. These greeting cards unfold to tell a unique story across three fully illustrated panels. The best part? They feature our unique integrated self-seal envelope, reducing the need for additional packaging materials. Not only does this design enhance the card's display, but it also simplifies mailing - an elegant solution for both senders and the planet.

Designs and Inspiration

Inspired by the Olympics, we identified a gap in the market for sports-themed cards that celebrate both male and female athletes. Combining our love for innovation with our commitment to inclusivity, we’ve launched a sports range as part of our Tri-Fold collection. From extreme sports to classic athletics, these cards bring energy, diversity, and artistry to the greeting card world.

Positive Feedback and a New Year Launch
We’ve shared prototypes with leading stores, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. Retailers are impressed by the intricate illustrations, eco-conscious design, and competitive pricing. By eliminating the need for additional packaging like plastic wraps or separate envelopes, we’re reducing waste without compromising quality.
